Portuguese Rammer dealer Cimertex is celebrating the return of a key demolition customer after more than a decade.

In reality, António Costa Almeida, Lda never really went away.   Since its formation, the company has been a keen user and vocal advocate for the Rammer brand, running a wide variety of demolition tools including RD 32, RD 18, RC4, RC 6, BC 807, BC 2525 attachments and a large fleet on Rammer IN-series hammers.   Latterly, however, the company had owned and operated some competitive demolition tool brands, even while noting the quality, reliability and productivity of Rammer products.

António Costa Almeida, Lda is a family company with headquarters in Avintes Vila Nova de Gaia, Northern Portugal.   The company motto is "where there is no solution, we create", and it is a philosophy that is applied to all aspects of the business from constant study, planning and evolution, through environmental concerns, to the equipment the company operates.   António Costa Almeida, Lda operates nationally and is widely regarded for the quality of its services that include mechanical and manual demolition, asbestos removal, and the processing and recycling of construction and demolition waste.

To mark its return to the Rammer fold, António Costa Almeida Lda has invested in several Rammer products including a 2,040 kg Rammer 3288E hydraulic hammer equipped with the RD3 monitoring system; 345 kg RSS05R and 1,950 kg RSS23R shears for cutting metal structures; and 140 kg RVP05S and 420 kg RPV07S pulverizers.

These new attachments complement António Costa Almeida Lda’s fleet of five Compact Range hammers 315, and two 533 that the company mounts on mini excavators for smaller scale demolition work.

According to the company, the new additions to the fleet are meeting all expectations.
